"With a visit to the family outside the city and one please for pasta we have made our way to gigis cucina povera for a Sunday dinner. there were several of us sitting on a very comfortable round table so that 4 bottles of wein together with some arancini (risotto balls and mozzarella) and clam casino were ordered. I preferred the clams casino that was perfectly baked and not chewing at all. the other family members enjoyed the arancini, but I found them a bit too easy for my taste. to go to dinner, I asked for a recommendation and the server beat spaghetti carbonara. it was fantastic! I loved the creamy sauce that was created by the butter and the ice and there was the perfect thing with pancetta gave the dish a rich taste. I tried some of the linguini con bygole of my brother (yes I enjoy fresh whistles) and the white mussel sauce was delicious with a perfect amount of mussel juice and garlic, so that the aromes are mixed together and not overdoing. I scanned the ribbed eye and enjoyed the rosmarin and sea salt twist until cut. it was asked to do medium, and that is exactly how it was prepared – no complaining there. the whole evening meal was pleasant and the staff was extremely attentive. we finished the meal with their homemade limoncello. it was so delicious that we ordered a bottle. we are already planning a return in the holiday season!"

"Best. BBQ. Wings. Ever!!!! That said it's also like a wierd bversion of a james bond film every day there is a different girl at the counter.... Youll never see the same employees twice... also reccomended the chicken finger sub and the spaghetti special. Also always make sure to get a game day combo- pizza n wings is cheaper that way"

"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and perfectly prepared. The salads are crispy and dressed properly, and the wine list is huge and tasty. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top notch food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos, and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and local food to celebrate small businesses ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"Ate at Champions today, 1-13-17. Found it to very cool! It is under new management, the same people who run the OTB bar and restaurant in Amherst. Food was excellent! Everyone there was friendly, typical Buffalo! I recommend that you stop in and try it."
