"Wow! My sister and I came here this evening. She has been a few times but this was my first time. We ordered a margarita pizza to share and a gnocchi and lamb ragu. The food was amazing. The tomato based sauce on the pizza and in the pasta is really nice, very fresh and tastes homemade. This is probably the best Italian I’ve had in Perth. Staff were friendly but not overly intrusive and I loved the cosy atmosphere. Perfect for a date or small get-together. Thank you for a great experience guys, will definitely be back"

"*Rating is a 3.5* Have dined here a few times now and have always left feeling a bit ambivalent about the food which can be at times quite hit and miss. This particular lunch we opted for the chargrilled octopus special (very dry and a bit tasteless), cheesy garlic pizza (ok), pizza ortalana (good) and a side salad. Other than the pizza, I have found the food here to be a bit ordinary to be honest. Ambience is a bit lacking and service on a busy day can be frustrating (to get anyone’s attention). However the place is always packed for dinner every night so they are obviously doing something right."

"16/12/2016 we decided to try amphoras bar in west perth, it is in the maintenance book, why not? we ordered the scallops (pirated much like half scallops), with chorizo and avocado pure; roasted red permento filled with mushroom ricotta; and crispy sand whiting fillet, zucchini and gazpacho emulsion maybe we decided badly or caught them in a bad night because the eating was inspiring and wow had no wow. the courts were also overpriced. we will probably stay with pinchos for our tapas repair."
