"Arriving into Darmstadt near midnight, seems like Germans don't eat so late, so the Kargöz is about the only place still open. Good, standard, Turkish food, lotsa lamb, minced cubed and Kebabed. Can't go wrong with rice and capers. Friendly and efficient staff. One step above everything else was a bottle of dry red: Boğazkere. And plenty of interesting photos art on the wells. Overall: glad it was still open"

"Rumplestilzchen is a rustic restaurant with a very extensive menu, e.g. German food, Italian food, Greek food, Burger. To be honest, I usually do not like places that try to care for every taste and offer all different types of dishes. But all we had was good! The vegan options were as follows: four different vegan pizzas (very thin and crispy dough, no vegan cheese, but creative toppings, two salads, two different vegan filled eggplants, and also some noodle dishes that should be vegan (Pasta Aglio e Olio, Pasta all Arrabiata... and sweet potato fryinges. On a few days they offer different discounts, e.g. for students, drinks, on main dishes... check their website. The staff is very friendly, beautiful rustic atmosphere!"
