"Yoree Korean Dining is one of my favorite restaurants in Korea. We always go to the BGC branch.
Each table has a charcoal grill so everything is freshly cooked and hot.

My husband, my children and I each ordered the Lunch B course, which costs P898 per person, at least 2 orders. It's an 8-course lunch that starts with juk, a Korean congee, and 3 starters. Juk is a bit like congee, but finer. The 3 starters consisted of cucumber, kimchi and muchim. But they gave us 4 starters one of which was sweet savory eggplant.

Then we each got gyeranjjim, a light and super fluffy steamed egg that was served in a hot stone bowl. It is exquisite! It's a great accompaniment to all of the tasty dishes that would follow.

We all had a serving of Haemul Japchae (Seafood Japchae). Very tasty and cooked in parchment paper ... I don't know how that affects the taste but it certainly adds to the presentation points. You don't skimp on seafood.

Then we had Yangneom Galbi, marinated USDA prime short rib, served with prawns. According to the menu there is octopus but beef and shrimp were all we got.

One thing I love about Yoree is that the quality of the meat is always top notch. The beef we had was no exception - extremely tender, flavorful, and simply delicious.

We also had Chadol Duinjang Jjigae, a USDA beef tenderloin, tofu, and vegetable stew in a hot pot. It's a spicy soup that is to Koreans what Sinigang is to Filipinos (but it's not spicy). My husband and kids thought it was too spicy, but I just thought it was okay.

We were supposed to be getting mul naengmyon, or buckwheat noodles with beef broth, but it wasn't available so they replaced it with bibimbap. Neither of us has anything against it, because Yorees bibimbap is super tasty. Also, I think a rice dish like bibimbap goes better with grilled meat than pasta.

Our last hearty dish was samgyeopsal, pork belly. You will be served fried kimchi. Again really first class meat. I should mention that you can have unlimited green salads with your meal.

The last course is dessert and we all have patbingsu. The milky shaved ice is so fine that it has a powdery texture. It is topped with sweet ripe mango cubes, red bean paste, and candied walnuts. It's sooo good. Deliciously milky with a hint of sweetness, tartness and crunch.

My husband, the kids, and I all agree that Yoree Korean Dining is one of the best places to get Korean food here in Metro Manila. While it is way more expensive than the usual Korean BBQ buffets, there is no comparison when it comes to food quality. You get nothing less than premium meat when you dine at the Yoree. They serve all Korean dishes to boot. Some of the cheap places mix non-Korean dishes into their menus and spreads. No short cuts here.

The service is nice and efficient. They grill and cut the meat for you. All you have to do is get involved! It doesn't get as smoky as most other places either. While your clothes inevitably have the very slight smell of crickets, they won't be overwhelming. Ordering menus is the way to go as it is more economical and you can try more dishes."

"I just love this place! I love Chinese food and Modern Sichuan satisfies my cravings all the time. Too good to resist! I loved their sweet sour pork, corn soup, curry crab with fried buns, 3 pots chicken and etc. Ate there for 4 times and no complaints at all. The service is really good and fast!"

"This is not the TV show. Now that we got that out of the way, let's get down to the food.

While the place itself is quite small, it is not too noisy. That is plus points for me. Not only that, but diners don't have to worry about smelling like smoke afterwards as the meat is grilled outside by the employees and brought to the dining area. The biggest opportunity would have to be a designated seating area for people waiting for their turn. I think that if they had such an area, it would help retain expectant customers.

For the food itself, we dined on banchan while waiting for our meat to finish grilling. This included a number of small dishes such as kimchi, bean sprouts, kimchi eggplant, fish cakes, tofu, and caramelized sweet potatoes. I prefer to set aside the last one so that it could serve as an impromptu dessert.

For the meat we had Gochujang Chicken, Samgyupsal (sliced and grilled pork served with grilled garlic cloves), Chadolbaki (thinly sliced beef... read more"

" Taking over Aria's space, Wholesome is about organic food. Try their Powerbowls, I had the Enlightened one - yup that's what they call their menu items, a tad goofy: it's black rice topped with raw fresh vegetables, and lightly fried tofu drizzled with a teriyaki-like dressing. The tiramisu is too understated for my taste, but their potato bread rolls are quite the starter. We also had the pasta with basil, tomato and salmon - very fresh and refreshing. Stop by the ATM, it's not cheap. "

"Straight Up is a roof deck bar in Seda Hotel. I went here on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. I'm not sure if this place ever gets crowded during weekends tho. There's nothing special about their drinks looking at its price. It wasn't an expert mix by a good bartender but it was okay. The great thing about this place is the amazing night view, and the very chill vibe. It's so relaxing just to be here while sipping your poison. I'd love to go back to try their food options next time."
