"I went to the Commack Diner on Saturday, August 1, 2009 everything was fine- the food, the service, etc. At some point, I needed to use the men 's room- which was, for a while, uneventful. However, after I finished doing my business in the men 's room, I was quite surprised- no, shocked- to see a woman in the room. She was a friendly, cleaning woman- just going about cleaning up- and I was still in the room at the urinal. I found this quite strange- and also, somewhat uncomfortable. However, she just smiled and continued cleaning- AS IF IT WERE TOTALLY NORMAL! I wondered at that moment what it would be like if a male cleaning person were in the lady’s room! Anyway, I washed up and went back to my seat- but I have to wonder- how can they run a place like that????!!!!"

"Whoa, best breakfast ever!!! It was packed, but service was excellent. Coffee AT THE ENTRANCE in case u have to wait (we didn't, but I grabbed a quick cup anyway). The food was so so good, I got the classic eggs Benedict w crispy bacon (instead of Canadian bacon), my husband got Famous Hash, both excellent. Hot sauce already at the table. Tons of parking outside. Bathroom is fine."
