"Second time here this Saturday. Place was full. 2 coffees ordered were Luke warm. I’d rather not order coffee extra hot, but you might need to at this place to get it to ‘ normal temp’. Was advised that food would take 20 minutes. 45...minutes later food arrives. Like I said , this is the second visit where it appears they struggle with getting food out in time. I ordered a ‘ Thai’ pork and barra salad. Odd combo, but hey, I’m open to new things. Dressing too sweet and definitely not a Nam Jimh dressing. I do recognise they’re trying to do something different in Mackay, so get points for that. Won’t be back in a hurry due to long wait times."

"Has been slowly going downhill over the last few years. Almost laughably poor service tonight. Certainly didn 't match the prices. Below average food pizza and tapas type dishes) that our large group 20-30) waited well over an hour for with 4-5 reasonably large, progressive orders through the 3 hours we were there. We watched another table of 8 wait over an hour and a half for their meal and the faces grew progressively darker. When I asked the wait staff what the delay was, they said there wasn 't a problem??? This is one of the prime restaurant locations in Mackay on the beautiful Pioneer River and is sadly wasted due to poor management. It 's reflected by the many empty tables we saw for a Friday night. It will be another 12 months before we re-visit unless ownership changes. Bring on some competition for this lot who don 't deserve the patronage they have due only to the cafe 's position, albeit short lived by those who visit."

"Came for breakfast;looked at the menu and saw the bruschetta. It looked lovely,nice toppings on a sourdough bread. So we ordered and when it arrived,I got one slice of toast seriously,I can’t make this stuff up,so I took a photo. In what world is a piece of white great toast “bruschetta”. And why advertise it with sourdough if you’re serving toast? Lastly,drop the pair accordingly or add another piece of toast. The only other issue was that the halloumi I ordered was extremely salty/buttery..? It tasted like it had been fried in butter? I adore butter,but it was too much,really really greasy."
