"Just back from lunch at this quirky, lovely restaurant in the middle of Salisbury. The place is a one off. And the staff are excellent. Couldn’t do enough for us. There were only 2 on duty it was busy but they still had time to chat. The food was excellent. I had wild mushrooms with toast and a poached Duck egg. Excellent at only £11. My wife had a superb aubergine gratin at only £11.50. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant come pub come bar come coffee house."

"Yesterday night here. room was nice, but it was too hot. Although we left the windows open all night, it was a bit loud when it was in front. in restaurant and eating was nice. service was brilliant, could not fail. the breakfast was just as good this morning. selection of pastries, pastries, toast, yogurt and cooked breakfast. I couldn't blame at all. will we have gone back?"

Don't let the simple loading front turn you off. the people here are fantastic and eating is a good quality and my fish cake was full of fish and tasted divine! would they like to return for an breakfast next time in the opposite. this is the definitiw of the place to go when they visit calne!"

"Went here for breakfast . Ordered scrambled eggs. Waited 40 minutes then cancelled and went elsewhere. You need to get a chef who can cook multiple meals at the same time, not wait for one order to cook before starting the next. It's not difficult to cook more than one order check at a time, especially when scrambled egg on toast can be done in under 5 minutes. Also. Had to wait and age for coffee. Plenty of staff but little organisation it appears. Won't be going back."

"I wanted to come here since it opened. I could finally see what it was about. steph informed me before he arrived that the brat was up. I knew there was nothing else I wanted, and there was no disappointment. the bark, which is cooked to our sweet, roasted and carrots, crispy and tasteful, roasted golden on the outside and fluffy inside, a monstrous yorkshire, which was buttery and crispy and a separate part of crispy filled flower charcoal. with a concentrated glass so delicious that I could drink! wait and travel to tidworth. I'm back!"

"Was searching on the internet for somewhere to stop for breakfast close to the and Hillbrush came up. A really quirky set up on the side of a brush factory the staff were excellent and the full English breakfast was top quality and...really well cooked. We will be returning soon!"
