"This is one of the places I most regularly go as a resident of a nearby street, the breakfasts (in particular Eggs Florentine) are fresh, well cooked, tasty and huge). Cooked lunches and salads are always worth having, coffees and deserts all made locally from fresh ingredients. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded at lunchtime but the service is always fast and attentive. Large tables suitable for meetings or group lunches."

"This is one of the best little cafes at the William St section of Collins. Coffee is very good of course. It's an intimate spot up a laneway from the Australia Post shop. Service is way above the average people get to know you and make an effort to show it. Breakfast and lunch options are delicious an an interesting array of snacks is always available. A go to."

"..Been there twice; first time, quite good especially food quality. This time, entree arrived way after the main courses which we'd waited for 30 minutes drinks had to remind our waitress... Worst of all, we sat inside and all the charcoal dished which...had been ordered by other patrons quickly filled the inside room to the point where we could barely breathe.. Summary: Good quality food but regrettably poor service and bad air conditioning won't go there again given all the other choices on Brunswick street..."

"We had been to lygon st before to eat and the experience was top stuff, we had been in the are and thought lets do it it again at another restaurant, well we had been let down, staff disinterested, ordered drinks beer and scotch they...came out seperate by 5 min, wifes meal was great she enjoyed it, my meal was poor under cooked."
