"You are nickel and dimed on everything. There is absolutely no salt or pepper on anything. One person ordered fajitas and the guac was definitely the not so great prepackaged store bought stuff. Another had steak that was cooked at 3 different temperatures ranging from blue to medium rare. The rolls that they offer, then throw more than you even asked for on the table are, at best, ones you get in the frozen food section. At best, this place is merely okay and should be a last resort if you can't get anywhere else. They have the potential to be better by merely seasoning food before they cook it with some salt and pepper. By the end we'd wished we'd skipped the main course and just ordered more empanadas."

"I have eaten at Cau many times over the years. we had a surprised when our steak was not cooked correctly, and the tiro de ancho was not butchered properly with a sinew strand running the length of the steak. when we pointed this out to the waitress, she acted immediately and prepared a new steak. she apologized, told us to please wait and enjoy our sides, the steak would be out immediately and with fresh sides. the delay was minimal, and our meal was perfect in every way. this is the kind of accountability and dedication to a high standard that will keep me always coming back to Cau. as a matter of fact, we did return two nights later for more! thank you for always doing such a good job, and acting quickly when anything is less than perfect."

"That is not a go. we ordered 3 hamburger and were disappointed by what was presented. for example, my cheeseburger was and it had a very thin disc cheese. Even if they order, the employee always asks whether they want to be cheese, so they have to pay extra what 1.5 € . as if eating was not bad enough, the salt package opened and fell on the table no one came and cleaned it finally comes to finish this bad experience when we asked someone else to do that. not even a “good night” or an excuse. only rude. they go to the street and enjoy their meal somewhere else."
