"This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"

"Celebrated a birthday on 16th June '23 and we were not disappointed. Service was very good and food was amazing. We must have been lucky, we phoned for a table just the night before and got one. The prices were great too! Thank you Will Gill for cooking such a lovely meal for me and my husband and thank you also to the lovely young waitress who worked her socks off in such intense heat! "Found this cafe after cycling the Laurieston to GofF road and then revisited a few times during our weeks holiday. The pecan pie was outstanding but then so was the treacle tart and the eggs Benedict. It’s a really good cup of coffee too!! There’s loads of space and it’s right by the big carpark so we did our bottle recycling at the same time."
