"Came here every night of my stay in Kona. The laid back relaxed atmosphere along w the friendly bartender made the whole place very comfortable. I prefer darker beers and the Kiawe Vanilla Porter was my absolute favourite. Even the wife who don’t really drink beer enjoyed the hard ciders and hard juice. The fact that they had tasting portions were good for those undecided!"

"Kai Eats and Drinks was the perfect spot for my husband and I to host our rehearsal dinner. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted and promptly directed to our tables. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even going as far as switching my plate to ensure it was vegetarian. The guests were raving about the pizza and steak! We loved the beautiful scenery and laid back atmosphere. I would highly recommend going to Kai Eats and Drinks for your event."

"Large regular crust pizza. Half paprika and half artichoke hearts. A thick crust is present, but a 12 was perfect for two. The lighting at the tables is bad. Must replace cool LEDs with warmer lamps. The food will look even better."

"Came in for a quick break, a little A C break and a gelato. Was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a very friendly akamai server and I enjoyed the delish sample lemon sweet cream which tasted like a cool refreshing lemon bar. Kind of an odd mixture of a sushi bar and sweet eatz place in one but it works. I would highly recommend this place and will most definitely come back! Not too many gluten-free options in the deli case but I look forward to trying some in the future ; Additional comment added 8 15 17: Forgot to mention that this place offers COMPOSTABLE biodegradable single-use spoons for the gelato instead of the normal plastic crap. LOVE IT!"

"I ordered the tamale plate. I feel if they would of given more rice and beans I would of rated it better. It was a scoop in the 2 little squares of the container they give. There rice and beans were good though. The 2 pineapple tamales were large and overcooked kind of too dry. People were nice with service. My husband had carne asada and same with rice and beans. He said his food was just ok."
