"The restaurant inside smelled awful. Waited very long time before our order was taken. Their definition of well done steak is burned meat. We had no napkins. Bottom line very bad experience."

"Apparently, the definition of "extra cheese nachos" has changed significantly, in the cheese department, since I was a lad. By about 70%. DOWNward. Also (and I didn't know this)! the art of stacking the cheese with nachos disappeared with the annihilation of the Minoan civilization, in about 1500BC. Volcano took them out.Such chips as there were had been artfully fluffed up, to better give the impression there were more than there actually were. The white edges of the chopped green onions were a definite clue they'd been cut, say, around the time Diefenbaker was Prime Minister. Without a word of a lie, I could have made better nachos at home with some wood shavings and a brick of Velveeta.Once my eyes dark adapted, realized the place was rather dirty - schmutz on the table, lots of wipe marks on the wood frame of the banquette - even the accent light on the table had little lumps of heaven-knows-what stuck to it. Whatever it was, it was reddish-orange. And little whiteish bits that had clearly petrified.Ambience music cripplingly hip rock, seasoned with wailing chick alleged jazz. All rather louder than they needed to be. Play list would gag an alcoholic badger.It had been some while since I'd been here, and it all came flooding back: there were really good reasons for that. Admittedly, the service was attentive and friendly."

"This restaurant has pretty much an authentic Mexican tasting fare. The variety of choices (ie type of tortilla, beans, etc) makes it even more interesting. Price point is good, serving size is actually pretty filling and staff service is very warm friendly."

"The food here is OK with a very limited menu and the prices are relatively high. We ate here twice and probably will not go back if we're in the area. On the up-side though, the staff, (our server was Rachel),were very friendly and efficient."

"What a delight! We were warmly greeted by the owners and commenced our vegan food frenzy. We started with the poutine, crispy peppered fries covered with an unctuous, lightly sweet and savory tomato and coconut gravy. Dale opted for the Veg In Classic burger, a black bean patty (not your typical black bean thing, this monster had great texture and mouth feel) served on a delicious vegan bun with all the fixings. There are a variety of free toppings, not just ketchup, mustard, and mayo, also chipotle sauce, tamarind dressing, peanut sauce, and a lemon and mint mayo. For a nominal charge, you can also get avocado and vegan cheese. I had the Millionaire burger, which is a smashed samosa served on that great bun with nice fresh coleslaw I added the free tamarind and peanut sauce. It was delicious, spicy, and totally filling. I can't wait to go back and try the Naan flatbreads that we were eyeing beside us it looks like a big pizza smothered with sauce and veggies. I was really touched when the owner introduced us to his partner in love and business who he said was the driving force and who creates all that delicious homemade cruelty free food. I could taste the love!!! Although we are both vegan, I am 100% sure omnivores will enjoy this tasty place too. Oh, and it was spectacularly clean! I can't wait to go back, and I understand you can order in skip the dishes which will be a perfect Friday night treat. Yay!"

"We were seated when we walked in. Waited for 25 minutes without anyone coming by to take our drink or food order. Tried to flag someone down a couple times, hostess avoided eye contact. Brutal!"

"Very disappointed! Went here for dinner and after realizing other patrons who arrived after us received their meals we questioned the waitress regarding our food and she told us she forgot to place our order. Over an hour wait in total we finally got our meals and had to get it to go as we had an event we were now late on attending. We spoke with the manager when he asked how things were and explained our wait but no apology was given. I have eaten here before and had a great meal, but very dissatisfied with the service and not even an acknowledgment from the manager or even a discount on the bill for their error. Things are busy and mistakes happen, but it would have been nice to actually eat the meal warm and not have to go hungry for the rest of the night. Unfortunately I won't be back, food has always been amazing, but today showed total lack of respect for their customers."
