"I have always gone to this restaurant and take people I know. I love it when a particular waitress serves me! She wears glasses and is a little short, she always treats you super happy and talking to her is always adorable. The reason why I give 4 stars is because not everyone treats you with the same enthusiasm. One is very rude regarding food. I think I always like the pupusas, the baleadas and the catrachas the dinners are very good and they give you a good portion of all their extras like soup and nachos sometimes the soup is a bit salty but I go because they are mistakes that all restaurants it happens to them! For the rest I recommend them, they almost always change a plate when something is not right ?"

"We visited this restaurant about 3 times a month in the regular Saturday morning. we never really had a problem until last week and then today. it will probably be our last time for one. the barbacoa was not fresh! it tasted as if it had been reheated and watered. the chorizo in my taco was lumped and not boiled. when I explained my concern to the cashier and that I did not eat the Barbacoa taco, she just shaken her shoulders and accused me of the full price. I didn't look for a refund, but a confirmation would have been nice! I hope others don't know what I've done. good luck!"

"If I could rate it no stars I would after todays experience. So I would go here in the mornings for breakfast weekly and never had an issue until today. I go for breakfast to get my tacos as usual . I get to work and open my taco ,pull a piece off and eat it , after eating the piece I go to grab another piece and notice something poking out the taco. I pull it and out comes this big roach. I just don’t understand how something so big was unseen how did the person who prepares the taco be so careless to not see it and just close the taco. I began throwing up in my office because of how disgusted I was. All my coworkers witnessed this and even took pictures of it . I went to tell the owner about the experience and she said she didn’t believe it happened . She went on to saying her restaurant area is clean so someone else must have put that roach in there . And even went as far to say the roach wasn’t even greasy so it was placed in there . That was such a ridiculous response and being the owner she should have responded in a better manner.and I do understand accidents happen , but for her not to take responsibility and try and pin it on a customer was very unprofessional .many of my coworkers and myself will never go back to this place. How disgusting ! And poor customer service."

"The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t necessarily anything special either. I wasn’t a huge fan of their barbacoa.. which I was super bummed over because it’s typically one of my favorite things to eat) : It’ll do but San Antonio definitely has way better Mexican food to offer!"

"This place was amazing! There were tons of vegan options and even more vegetarian options. The owner was working in the kitchen and plenty of regulars stopped by to say hello during the meal. She clearly connected with the people that frequented. My parents came to visit me while in San Antonio for work and my dad suggested the spot. We'd never been before so we tried a little of everything. My cousin and dad aren't vegan and there were options for them My mom and I split two dishes that were served with salad and chips and salsa. The beans were all vegan! They even had Daiya cheese to top the dishes. I'd highly recommend the tamales. I'm excited to go back and try the tofu filling on my next trip to San Antonio."

"Been disappointed last 2 visits. First visit charged quite a bit for guacamole side sour cream, kids drink $15.00. Today I advised the waitress I would like 3 taco special coffee. 30 mins later I asked for my tacos she said I told her I was waiting for someone, clearly I never said that. This is my last visit."
