"Tiny portions for the price. Taste is nothing special. Not bad, but not amazing. Barely any chips, and they were small and broken like they were from the bottom of the bag. I ordered guac and they gave a tiny scoop (about 3 bites)"

"In town for a concert, and craving Mexican food. My dining companion and I found El Mariachi, and their menu had just what we were craving. Walking into the restaurant we noticed how clean and lovely it is Beautifully decorated for Christmas aswell. Immediately after seating we received complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was a quite tasty chipotle salsa. We bothordered the El Mariachi Margarita which was very, very good! We opted to start with the Chili con Queso with added Chorizo. Theportion is definitely enough for four to share, but we managed to finish it between the two of us. It was delightfully cheesyand delicious! For my main course I ordered the enchilada plate. It?s my go to dish I crave! I requested one chicken and onecheese enchilada with red sauce, and extra sour cream on the side. Wow! What an amazing plate of deliciousness! Both enchiladaswere blanketed in red sauce which clearly was made properly with dried chilies no skimping on sauce which makes this dinervery happy. The rice was the best I?ve had in a Mexican restaurant. The rice was seasoned wonderfully, was moist, and not dry.The black beans were quite good. Nicely seasoned, and a nice accompaniment to the plate. Service was perfect. Our server wasfriendly and polite. She definitely has great timing! Our water was never empty either as a very nice gentleman made sure we hadwater as needed. Overall, we left stuffed and very happy. Such a wonderful restaurant! Be sure to give them a try knowing onewill not be disappointed."

"Illegal business practices. El Mariachi has a credit card fee. They post a sign stating a credit card surcharge as if that allows them to legally charge it. Surcharges for using credit cards are illegal under Consolidated Laws of NY, General Business (GBS) CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 29-A, §518. This law was upheld at the US Supreme Court in their decision on Expressions Hair Design v. Schneiderman, 581 U.S. ___ (2017). The food was... fine. There is no AC inside, which was not great on a 90+ degree day. I have other thoughts but I don't want to detract from the message that, at best, El Mariachi management neglected their due diligence. I expected much more from a long standing establishment."

"Something everyone apparently knows but me: when you Google the restaurant you immediately get an offer to order online. You have to pick a delivery service even though you're going to pick up. That costs you and mexico lindo money because the computer thinks you're a delivery service. I've done it a number of times and this was the first time it was pointed out to me. Lesson: order by phone. 1 star for me and 5 stars for Mexico lindo. (Bonus tip: all restaurants should explain this on their websites)"

"In the best Mexican restaurants in the region we eat a lot. that was our first time here. it was a true culinary experience. the menu offers a range of dishes that are not available in other restaurants. the chilate depollo suppe was very delicious. a few loved their camarones ala tequila. many garnel also. I had the pollo ala mexicana. perfectly prepared. the house margaritas at $8 each was on the small side. our server noah was there. simple parking and beautiful environment inside. this place is as good as elpatron and salsa latina. we're coming back."
