"Signage indicates a closing time of 8pm. I have noticed in the last months that they close whenever. eating is good, but their hours are not reliable, especially if there is one of the few sitting places and the only one that is not a Mexican eating place that is open in the evening."

"The Butterchurn in Aransas pass is an okay place if you have multiple cravings at once.Went on Saturday and had their dinner. The steak was cooked rare and needed something.The chicken fried steak I got was tasteless and rubbery.The salad bar and deserts were the bomb!Our waitress was extremely attentive and our drinks never got low and plates were removed promptly."

"Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My gordita with Carne asada was terrible. The beef was incredibly gamey tasting, and the corn gordita was overcooked on the outside and raw in the middle. It was so tough to cut, just terrible. My husband had huevos Ranchero, and his eggs were cooked according to order; the sauce lacked flavor. The flour tortillas appeared to be housemade but we're dry. Overall, not good."
