"Super delicious gem in big bear. Tamarind margaritas were amazing, fajitas were tender and seasoned with fantastic tortillas and salsas. We had a great time and the service was quick, inside was clean and cute. Totally would go back!"

"Definitely not a 4 star restaurant. Got food poisoning here yesterday from their California burrito. Definitely not clean or they don’t cook their food well. I’m still having some effects from the food. And I have a strong stomach. I suggest La Cocina or Sonora cantina for great Mexican food. This place is a double 0 for me."

"Gabby's has become a go to place for us. We ended up starting to go there during Covid because they had/have a great system where you could order and pay over the phone and pickup from a window on the back side of the building. But we keep coming back because of the food. My biggest issue with the food in Big Bear is that so much is fried and bad for you. We have recently been eating vegetarian and Gabby has some great choices. She has the very best veggie burrito I have ever had. The thing is massive and so flavorful. It is a great mix of different veggies (not just onions and peppers like so many other places). The rice is mixed with quinoa and is so moist. I order the burrito without beans and it isn't dry at all. Make sure to order a side a chips, the home made and just perfect. The avocado salad is a signature dish there and should not be missed!"
