"Located on the second floor of an apartment building, this cozy restaurant is an apartment turned into a public restaurant (from my table I had a view of the hallway and saw people coming home with groceries and such). The server was kind and thoughtful. I didn't speak a work of Spanish and the server (who I took to be the owner) was patient with me. I let her know I was vegan (via google translator) and she pointed out the vegan friendly dishes (and there were quite a few). As it was my first meal in the city (from Canada), I immediately went for the tacos. There were at least three or four other vegan options that she pointed out (in Spanish), but I couldn't tell what they were from the menu. The food was decent. Slightly bland. It's a set menu with salad, soup, entree, and dessert for 75 pesos. It's a place to go in a pinch and I'd likely go back eventually for a quick meal. My suggestion though is to keep your expectations low. I would give three stars for the cheap price, friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere."

"My niece and I went to VegAmo after going to the Museo de Arte Popular. (Folk Art Museum) She is not vegan and got a cappuccino she liked but wasn’t remarkable. My chai latte tasted identical to my favorite US local cafe. The flautas were also excellent, with heaping shredded mozz, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and a salsa on the side that was good but could have had more spice. The server informed me that they only have tamales for special occasions. Soon I plan to seek out vegan tamales at La Galeria near Bosque Chapultepec"

"We really enjoy the service and quality of eating. the paella that I had was tasty and tasty, as the barbacoa de cerdo' we are very happy about the warm welcome in the restaurant. two waitresses who really needed time to explain and offered suggestions were magdalena (night layer) and pinklia (morging layer). both ladies made our visit to this restaurant very pleasant. very recommended restaurant and near our hotel."
