"Had lunch there today with my partner. The food was true Colombian deliciousness. Best Colombian empanadas I've had in Canada they were perfect. Bandeja Paisa (though pricey at $26.99) was everything I had remembered and everything was so fresh and homemade. The waiter didn't speak much English and my Spanish isn't great but we figured it out. Lulo and maracuya juice was delicious, just a tad too sweet. Buñelos are a favourite treat for my family, but only sold on weekends here. Would 100% come again. We will be back! Thanks so much for a great lunch!"

"This is a just a really fun place to go to with friends and family. You go there for the soft tacos - 3 for $12! Many choices to chose from. I like the shrimp and veg ( fried avacado) is a must try. The fresh guacamole is very good appetizer. Made at the table. Try the death sauce if your not afraid of heat. The place is small and they don't take reservations. Outside patio is nice. The decor makes you feel like you are in Mexico. The menu could be expanded and the sangria should be fresh ( not package) to get 5 star. But a Definite must try."

"My husband and I ate at Cantina Mexicana a few weeks ago. We love Mexican food and are always looking for something authentic. The restaurant in Streetsville looked almost too quiet from the outside, and it was in fact, very quiet the night we were there - only three tables occupied. It's family owned and operated, and the food is fantastic! I was thrilled to find a place with tamales - hard to find because they are so time-consuming to make. They were delicious, as was everything we ordered. My main course was tinga poblana (a stewed meat dish) and my husband had enchiladas. Both came with sides of beans, rice and salad. The home-made tortilla chips that we had while waiting for our food were light and crispy. All portions looked small at first glance, but the proportions were actually perfect. We left full and satisfied. We would definitely recommend Cantina Mexicana to anyone looking for the real deal in Mexican food. The sangria was excellent, too!"

"I was introduced to this restaurant by a colleague during a business meeting in September 2018.....and now it has become a monthly ritual for us! The staff are terrific and the food is flavourful, fresh, and made right in front of you. You can easily...customize your order (vegan, vegetarian or just have things left off) without any issues. There is always a line; however, know that it is not because the service is slow...it is because the food is so terrific!"

"Hands down, THE best Mexican restaurant in Mississauga! Delicious food, excellent service and friendly staff. Free parking too. I've tried most items on the menu and like them all. Try the Pastor Chimichanga and Chicken Shrimp fajitas. The nachos are delicious too. They also serve Mexican Coca Cola."
