"First time at this restaurant, during the COVID-19 pandemic, so our order was a take out one. I had a Groupon for this place, which is a great way to try out new restaurants. The menu is limited, but what they have is great and all ingredients are fresh. We ordered the enchiladas verdes plato, which is 4 enchiladas stuffed with chicken and cheese in a green sauce. Loved this dish, but would have enjoyed having some rice and beans on the side. At 12 though, this is a bargain. Also got the chile relleno, a stuffed polbano pepper with cheese and veggies. This dish does come with yellow rice and beans (I chose black beans). A 10 bargain, and all was fresh and delicious. For an appetizer, we chose an unusual one for a Mexican restaurant. Brussels sprouts with chorizo, almonds and truffle oil. Unusual, but very good. Overall, we were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the prices. A Groupon is a nice way to try out new places and I will say that we will definitely go back to this one!"

"The best carne asada burritos in the area. I usually cannot handle the spices other burritos have but these are just right. The other dishes they make with catering business are also delicious- best enchiladas as well. Also love that the Sanchez family does so much for the community"

"After visiting the Maritime Aquarium, my family and I were wanting to eat lunch. That is when we discovered Bandido’s Mexican Restauraunt. Upon entering we were greeted by Gabriel who was extremely friendly and helpful. We ate chips and salsa (x2), kids chicken tenders and fries, birria quesadillas, and the surf and turf. Each meal was filled with a ton of flavor. The chips were fresh, salsa full of flavor with just the right hint of spice, and the chicken fingers and fries were warm and tasty. The birria quesadillas were oozing with birria and cheese with a delicious consome sauce to dip into. It also had tasty rice, black beans, guacamole, pico de Gallo, and sour cream. Finally, the Mexican Surf and Turf included beautifully seasoned and cooked steak, shrimp, peppers, and mushrooms in a tequila cream sauce. The sauce was hearty and flavorful, bringing the dish together. Lastly, the soda was nice and cold and Gabriel made us a mango-lemonade that was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the food, customer service, and ambiance made for a delightful lunch.Kid-friendliness: Gabriel offered a high chair.Parking: There were a few spots available on the street."
