"Very friendly and welcoming place! Portions are well sized, and the food is definitely not gourmet but it sure hits the spot when Mexican food is on the mind. The owner is often working as well and she is very friendly and has a great memory for usuals. Highly recommend you check it out for those in between fast food, but not an expensive sit down."

"The restaurant is clean and bright. The staff is very nice and attractive. The Salsa Bar was in good shape and the pico de gallo was very fresh. The Jamaican ham was tasteful and not watered like a few other places. My spouse ordered chorizo and eggs serving in 7 minutes. She said it was good, but the fried beans were a little watery. I ordered 7 mares, but keep the shells. It took longer before it came. I waited 25 minutes. I guess this soup takes time to make it good. It was very good overall, but I thought the soup broth looked a little oily and thick. It had a good taste and was not too sharp. There were 3 different types of shrimp. It was interesting, but I prefer the shrimps, all peeled and cock less. The octopus was thick and chewing, but I don't know if it's possible to make it tender without letting the customer wait even longer. A better alternative is squid. Your body and tentacles are thin and become tenderer. What would make this soup even better is Dungeness instead of the small crab with thin legs that worked me too hard for them. 7 mares cost $19. I enjoyed it altogether, but probably it would not order again unless they make changes I proposed. However, I will return to this restaurant to taste their menu and other dishes."

"El mariachi is a local, friendly, tasty Mexican restaurant with great service redded beef cute tacos, my favourites! manuela lupe are two sisters who run this restaurant. they work hard so very graciously sweet. they are open six days in the week and serve breakfast every day even though I have to arrive early enough to partake! this is a great family restaurant / atmosphere. if they have a demand for some tacos, chile rellenos, enchiladas, chimichangas or some mexican, visit el mariachi at sunset in rocklin!"

"This must be the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We had to order our drinks twice and they were wrong when they arrived almost 15 minutes later. Our food was okay, but my daughter was never given her Sunday, which was part of her child's meal. When we tried to pay the waiter noticed that we noticed a coupon for $10off a bill of $100 or more (Our bill was good over $100 with food and drinks), it took him over 20 minutes to bring our last review to us. At that time we were ready to go 2 hours after our arrival and had our chairs in standing with payment. The waiter left the final exam and did not return. We asked the host to be able to pay our bill, he said only the waiter can get us up. So we waited again, this time we went back to the host and asked for a manager to take us. When we told the manager what happened their answer was “Well, that happens when you use a voucher.” You have to fuck me!"
