"Taco Tuesday Special. Try the Chili Verde Taco in soft corn tortillas. street taco size, but excellent taste and not spicy(a must for me). Price is right. Also had shredded chicken hard shell (my regular), always had a great dinner. The service is at the counter, which is served by the staff at the table. Always friendly. Excellent family business!"

"When I heard the switch Slo reopened on LOVR, I knew I had to go over my head to see what Chef Johnathon had created. At the moment they have authentic Mexican cuisine on the menu and I don't even think I took a breath during the first bites! The food was delicious, so tasteful, and the salsa was actually spicy. I will definitely be back!"

"Great atmosphere for groups or dinner for 2. The bar is separated from the dining area and ensures good noise distribution. There are also outdoor seats with heating. The food was really good and very well prepared. Servers are friendly, fast and excellent to make a good experience. I had Carne Asada Tacos who were so good! Margarita was also great."

"Never been here before, I decided to order a chicken burrito with sour cream and hot salsa. The burrito has great flavor, but I paid extra for sour cream and didn't get any in my burrito. I'm highly annoyed by this. I'm in town for a few days, maybe I'll go back and see if they'll credit to me on another meal, if not I'll just go somewhere else after I update my review."

"This is a colorful restaurant! They have really great refried beans. That said, the Carne Asada was on the bland side but their salsa bar has choices to spice it up. The Al Pastor had good flavor. And they have really hot charred jalapeños. The mini asada burrito was basic flair with shredded beef, cheese and a lot of rice, which reheated nicely at home the next day. The service was friendly and wearing masks. Moderately priced. They sell T-shirts."

"Wow, flavors were great! At least a dozen large shrimps in the shrimp creek, picture below. Big spicy salsa! Carnitas enchiladas were also excellent. Portions were more than generous. Put it on your list for a must eat place!!!"

"This place was great for a very new restaurant. They have a few kinks to work out, for sure. The food was fantastic and unique. We split an appetizer and two entrees all of which were great. The tequila list was vast I think they have 90 something different kinds. I got a recommendation from the bartender and it was great! The only problems were the music kept going on and off or restarting the same song. Kind of annoying after about twenty minutes. Also, the wait staff was very knowledgeable but kind of lingered at the table. I'm sure these are just new restaurant jitters. This place was fantastic, I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for something unique in SLO."
