"Bravo!. I am in love with Amélie's bakery! I spent a good decade hearing about great french bakeries around and couldn't find a decent one around. Lo and behold, Amélie's! The inside decor is absolutely beautiful and the cakes, pastry and bread section look delicious! My friend brought me here, having been shocked that I've never been. We shared a seasonal cake, gâteau au chocolat, chocolate cake (see picture) with some black tea, her English breakfast, me Earl Grey. The cake was excellent; rich and not too sweet, just how I like it. It tasted like eating a giant chocolate truffle. I also ordered a mixed berry fruit tart and a raspberry fruit tart for my parents before leaving. Amélie's only have a menu for food aside from dessert. See attached menu. The only complaint I have is that my friend and I had to clear our own table in order to sit and eat. In all fairness though, they were quite busy. I shall be returning Amélie!"
