"We frequent the La Prep franchise in Cross Iron mall and have always been satisfied so we decided to use their downtown location to cater a business meeting. The food arrived promptly, was exactly what we had ordered, and was excellent. The assorted pastries were particularly good, I highly recommend them. The staff at this location were also very accommodating throughout the process. We will definitely use La Prep catering again in the future!"

"Daily Visits. Perfect little place for a grab and go or sit down meal. love the wonton and club house, not to mention great weekday hangover breakfast meals. The owner/staff are so fantastic and really know how to take care of their clients!"

"Lunch was perfect in this sunny heritage room looking out over a pretty garden, right in the middle of the Beltline in central Calgary. There is ample free parking, including handicapped parking, near the garden that grows much of the veggies served in the restaurant. A ramp and elevator ensure the lunch room is accessible to everyone, including the bathrooms with baby changing tables.My favourite part was the service. Brian was right there when we needed him, the perfect person for a place like this. He was truly proud to tell us about the specials, and recommended a wine, explaining why it was his preference.The lunch menu is simple, with specialist sandwiches...and specials. We loved the crab dip appetizer gooey with Gruyere. I would go back anytime, and take guests and friends to show off a wonderful repurposed heritage building."

"I love carbs. Bread, bread and more bread. Heaven to me looks and smells like Alforno.Long weekend are made for enjoying a special treat like going out for breakfast and I had waited a few long weekends to make it to Alforno. It was just as lovely as I thought it would be in my dreams. White and bright inside, with a variety of seating options (we took the patio), service was quick for drinks and food. My London fog was 16 oz. of pure bliss to start off my carb loading.I ordered the ricotta hotcakes with lemon curd, blueberry compote, hazelnut, warm maple syrup. My dining companion choose the Canadian Eggs Benedict with back bacon, green onion , poached organic eggs & side greens. Neither of us were disappointed and neither of us wanted to share. I got a cheese crossiant to go and if it wouldn't be considered loitering, I gladly would have sat there all day and ordered lunch. Looking forward to the next long weekend I can return and try another tasty dish at Alforno."

"I had the eggs Bennys potatoes were under cooked and barely warm. Very little hollandaise sauce on two tiny eggs. Ham was inferior and very salty. My husband had the some sort of pancakes with smoked salmon. The pancakes were tasteless and he could not figure out the taste and what was in them. There was very limited salmon and cheese on these pancakes . Will not be eating at this place again."

"Never had a bad breakfast, brunch or lunch here. Walking distance from Inglewood. Lots of street parking if you drive. The food is so good, you have to make regular return visits. This is my go to brunch spot when entertaining out of town visitors."
