"Awesome patio with an amazing view of the mountains and water! The lobby of the hotel that the restaurant is located in is grand and beautiful. The staff are so lovely, they greet you as soon as you arrive. We sat on the edge of the patio, I definitely recommend doing this, you will get an unobstructed view. They have a good variety of food. I ordered one of the pizza’s. I didn’t care for the crust, the pizza could have used more sauce and cheese. However we also got the Okanagan bowl and that was so delicious. I definitely recommend Oak Cru for the beautiful view!"

"While the menu is extensive and the food is good the noise from people around the adjacent pool and the heat in the room during the summer, makes the whole area uncomfortable. They have local entertainment Friday's and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm and usually they are very good but it is totally compromised by the noise and heat. The service is good, and while the wine list is fairly extensive the prices are in my opinion above average when compared to other restaurants and even those at local wineries"

"Great weing and even better lunch. we have often visited the little weinberge of the straw and from some strange ground have never walked up to the barrel top grill. this trip we have spoken for a lunch. chef trevor greeted us and greeted us. to the grill. sitting on the terrace with a slightly smoky view over the valley to the lake offered a great place to lunch. we put ourselves in the hands of the chef for the chef's choirs. he did not disappoint three plates for us was perfect. he asked for allergies before the start and when the food was delivered, he gave us a tour through the plates and described what we wanted to enjoy. trevor was a very dedicated host, who was so interested in us as he was eating about what he prepared and served. this is a great place for a relaxed lunch over a glass of wine. do not pass it by as we have done for a few years. not again."

"This place is overall great! The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The prices are great, not overpriced. The servers are super kind and usually go above and beyond. The only problem with this place could be the location as it is right in the corner of two busy streets thus it can be quite noisy at some times."
