"The only real Peruvian restaurant. The rest have adapted their recipes and menus to such an extent that you cannot call it Peruvian cuisine.Now to "Causas". I've been to Peru so many times and every time I'm more convinced that's it is the best place to eat. The key are their fusion of flavors and their ingredients. And Causas has managed to deliver traditional good quality recipes even without having access to all the unique ingredients of Peru (e.g. Peruvian limes).We first ordered a classic cebiche which was surprisingly good with original Peruvian corn as you would get it in Lima. And for 12,50€ a fair price. The pisco sour was good but could use more pisco. We also ordered a pitcher chicha morada, made of real purple corn and not made with the instant powder. Still a bit diluted if compared to this juice in Peru, but hey, we're in Germany.The heart anticucho was good, maybe a bit small for the price (heart is quite cheap meat at the butcher). The Lomo saltado was OK, maybe a higher temperature of the wok would improve it. The aji de gallina quite good. We even ordered a lucuma ice as dessert, from a fruit only found in Peru. All in all, a really good restaurant and if you haven't tried Peruvian food yet, this might be a place. Prices are maybe a bit steep, but better this way as long as they keep the recipes as traditional as possible and don't start substituting, the mistake many other restaurants do. I recommend it."

"Unser Besuch des Restaurants "PerÙ" in Bonn hat uns grundsätzlich gut gefallen.Wir waren zu Viert und kamen übereinstimmend zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Speisen wohlschmeckend zubereitet waren. Die von mir bestellten Gerichte: Hackfleischbällchen in ein wenig scharfer Sauce, Spareribs, gegrilltes Gemüse und diverse Dips ließen nichts zu wünschen übrig.Natürlich gab es auch Pisco sour - ebenfalls perfekt gemixt.Ein wenig problematisch waren die Bedieungskräfte - vermutlich Studentinnen, die mit dem gut besuchten Lokal überfordert waren. Einer meiner Begleiter konnte sich bezüglich eines Getränkes nicht sofort entscheiden, schon hieß es ein wenig unfreundlich, wenn er sich nicht entscheiden könne käme gleich jemand anderes vorbei, um die Bestellung dann entgegen zu nehmen. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu bemängeln - also ein netter Abend bei leckerer Küche"
