"Come here if you want to meet real Swiss people who have nothing to do with Zurich's financial services industry. Local, working class patrons enjoying a beer on a Tuesday at 1pm, having finished their 'geschnetzeltes' or 'cordon bleu'. The interior is from the same decade as when the Swiss allowed women to vote (70s in most Kantons), but the food quality is actually quite good (entrecot) and reasonably priced for Zurich."

"Tonight were three in the taverna catalana, we were served super fast and the recommended kellners gino was just the right one for our taste. my companions had taken the derecote with mushrooms, bratkartoffeln and spinat and I supplemented the seafood with the same. the food was sensational and the atmosphere was easy to enjoy.The absolute highlight of the evening was the homemade crema catalana to dessert! Around an excellent evening, I can only recommend it!A thanks to miguel and his team!"

"Our dinner at differente was really amazing. the ambiente in the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner and eating is simply perfect. we both had the tartare symphony and could try different types of tartare that were all superb. the staff was very helpful and ensured that our dinner was perfect. recommended!"
