"This place has a great sun terrace and very friendly owners. Food is savoyard and quite simple but fine for the mountains. The steaks are ALWAYS good here and a nice vegetable soup for cold days too. Downstairs is now a fast food snack bar for those on a budget or in a hurry. Great location on Sitelle piste. They do superb croissants too at 10am straight out of the oven !! Great with a home made hot chocolate with the sun shining right on the terrace from Mont Vallon. One of our favourite coffee stops in the morning."

"Unpleasant and unprofessional service. Price widely above other altitude restaurants and quality largely below. Clean average snack. The restaurant is much less frequented than its competitors. Special mention to the reservation: "12:30 not 12:45, we have a second service." ok, it's normal. We arrange to be good at the time (at nine). on site: in dreams the second service. empty room at the two-thirds.---------Unpleasant and unprofessional service, borderline obnoxious.Premium pricing versus other alternatives (in plattieres 3 for example) and food quality way below average.All of the above reflected in much lower traffic. about 2/3 empty whilst other places require booking a day in advance."

"Fabulous restaurant with great food and service. Beautiful meal here in an incredible backdrop of mountains. Ravioli was fantastic and homemade bread was lovely. Plates of chips ordered in addition to our meals and they are very large and lovely. Will definitely be back next...time we are in the area skiing. This is a must-stop for a great lunch."

"Husband and I went at the end of the summer season. On arrival things looked uninviting as we looked into the bar a basic local French bar in a small village. We were then taken through to a charming restaurant where we were the...only diners. The service was absolutely charming and informative and we were allowed to battle on in our mediocre French despite the fact that maitre d' spoke excellent English. Thank you for that as it is nice to try! Food was seasonal and absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked. Have heard it is a good place for lunch for skiers in the winter season. Our summer evening there was a delight."

"The terrace has a new cabin with a wood stove. An excellent entrecote and chips with a good bottle of red at a very reasonable price. With a view over the valley from the terrace and right next to the beginning of the L...lift and the end of the Hulotte slope, this is a good Meribel lunch break."
