"On an overnight stay on our way home from holiday in France, we were looking for a restaurant in the centre of Evreux. Studying menus as we walked around there was nothing that appealed until we saw the Bistro Italien. So many choices for main course that we decided to go inside. We were not disappointed, lots of good selections on menu, food tasty and well presented, excellent service, well priced. We arrived around 19h30 and it was quiet, an hour later and it became very busy with many local people dining, always a good sign of a good restaurant. We finally made our choices of Carbonara and Spagetti bolognese, both very good. Lots of good starters and desserts available too. We may well break our journey overnight in Evreux next visit, and if so we know where to go for our dinner."
