"LOVE Polpo…always have. Food great, ambiance perfect, service impeccable. BUT…they were out of several things we were looking for. Certain wines to start (not just one but two in a row). Then, shockingly, they were out of tartufo. Our guests were excited throughout the meal to get tartufo for dessert and then nothing. Strange, because you really just buy a bunch of it and keep it in the freezer until customers order it. Honestly, the staff was embarrassed having to continually tell us they were out of menu items, and we were understandably turned off. I still love the place and will go back, but management needs to fix this before it becomes a pattern…"
