"We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions with family and friends. It's a great place and always busy but the owners always seem to find a spare table although it is better to book. Great food and a good choice of dishes and wines served by a very friendly family and their staff."

"Our family had a great experience at dinner. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English, and the reverse side of the menu was in English. We tried the escargot, bruschetta, fondue with potatoes, and the spicy rösti burger. We also had ice cream and meringue for dessert. We enjoyed everything! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!"

"We have been coming to Illustrate Gambero for many years and always get very nice service and good food. Someone said they had to wait 2 hours? What did you do to upset them that much? The other night I had Osso Bucco and my partner had Penne alla Sicilian both excellent with a nice local pinot noir what's not to like? Ignore the naysayers and go enjoy a nice meal"

"Le Café du Grutli is an institution in Lausanne, with these wooden tables and wooden beams, which give an authentic look to the café.. The Cuisine is local, with cheese fondue and brasserie plates on the menu. Friendly welcome and excellent service. We tried the beef tenderloin, and perch filets. Excellent food. Lovely fries. Highly recommended"
