"I walked in because it was one of the only restaurants open at the time (5PM on a festive monday). Long menu and touristy looking, it would have usually put me off, but went for the duck which was very tasty. Great place for correct food at a reasonable prices."

"Without a doubt, the worst restaurant experience... of my life. Be ready for a ‘brief’ (but detailed) review. As we sat down, it took them a literal half hour to HAND us the menus. Once we ordered drinks, it was an additional 25 minutes to get the drinks we ordered and we were told we could order our food only moments later. However, it seemed as though we had different definitions of what a ‘moment’ meant as we didn’t get to order till yet another half hour had passed. It was so long before we spoke to someone that the weather had changed and we began to get rained on. We thought we would improvise and open the umbrella situated right by our table (since no one offered to help us get out of the rain... or at least the drinks we had ordered by this point) only to get chastised by the staff, while we were soaking wet helping everyone on the patio get out of the rain... something the staff perhaps should have taken initiative on. Once we received our meal... or rather, someone else’s meal (that was cold), we sat in the rain, in the dark, eating a meal we had not ordered. We spoke with the staff, barely old enough to vote, to be told they could do nothing and that the staff was upset by our comments. Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting an experience of a lifetime, to be robbed in plain sight. I would rate this restaurant zero of five stars, but sadly the site will not allow for it."

"I can see why this place divides opinion somewhat. It’s one of those places that is very confident in what it does in all ways. We loved it. Simple menu. Very Normandie. Great specials. Service in semi English. Popular place. Filled up quickly despite the...vast local competition. Food was excellent (see pictures). We were not budgeting which is just as well. Great wine menu. Lovely bottle of St Emilion. Sat outside but plenty of tables inside as well. We loved the attitude of the place, we were not in a hurry and we got it. Most people will. Definitely recommended."

"This place was very good! Make sure to reserve because they are ALWAYS fully booked, even for lunchtime! It was a miracle we got in. My girlfriend had the half chicken with garlic and she swears it was one of the best things she has ever eaten. I had the duck which was very tasty. Nice staff, cute setting and nice location."
