"The ‘Salumi Vino’ is a restaurant situated in the heart of Old Montreal.It is the favorite place for people all over the world. As you enter the place, a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut stones and the luxuries of modernity welcome you. Sitting in any table, you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chefs working. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth- watering starters. I had the fried zucchini accompanied by a mousseline tomato sauce and Burrato salad. They were exquisite. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of homemade food. The chefs take great care in selecting fresh products and ingredients. Despite the low price of the food and very attentive waiters ́ service, I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the Salumi Vino restaurant. Special thanks to Owner Mr. Mario he was to kind to offer us special Italian desert Tiramisu."

"Great coffee, definitely a notch above regarding coffee. These baristas know what they do and they use high quality beans. I once had the turkey sandwich and it was solid. It's a bit annoying that kids are not allowed to walk in the shop obviously this is because they don't have an inferior alcohol license and I respect naturally according to the law, but I find it hard to understand why I had to leave my 4 years old outside while I paid for a coffee at 11 a.m. when all in the café drink only coffee, but he can sit with me in a place on the street while I have breakfast. Anyway, it's what it is, big coffee, but don't expect to sit down if you even have a baby in your possession."

"We were pleasantly surprised to be given a fabulous upgrade to our reservation to a much larger room with a wrap around terrace on the 5th floor. Everything was tastefully done and no details left out from good quality sheets and toiletries (Molton Brown) to an afternoon treat brought to our room. We only stayed one night but wished it had been more. the front desk staff were very helpful; they even gave us proper milk for our morning coffee in room, with a Nespresso machine, our favorite. the location is in an area of old Montreal undergoing lots of reno so some of the surrounding streets were a bit yech however just around the corner was a cool refurbished building the old Royal Bank of Canada which had a cafe/co working space inside called the Crew Collective."
