"Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier zum Essen und sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal.Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, auch wenn zwei sehr lange Tischreihen reserviert waren und ein bisschen an Speisesaal erinnerten.Die Speisekarte ist sehr reichhaltig und hat Saisongerichte. Wir aßen eine Platte Antipasti, die ausgezeichnet schmeckten und hinterher je eine Pizza mit angenehm dünnem Teig. Das Bier gibt es auch in 0,5 l Gläsern und der abschließende Espresso mit Cantuccini schmeckte.Das Preisniveau (Ausnahme sind Pizza und Pastagerichte) ist oben angesiedelt.Beim Bezahlen vergaß der Chef die Antipastiplatte zu berechnen. Wir machten ihn darauf aufmerksam (ein Grappa als Danke wäre bei dem Preis für die Antipasti angebracht gewesen).Was mich störte, war die lange Wartezeit, bis die Speisekarte kam und nach den Getränken gefragt wurde. In dieser Zeit arrangierte der Chef einen großen Tisch (der, als wir nach 1,5 Stunden gingen, noch nicht besetzt war).Trotzdem ein schöner Abend."

"We went here on a rainy day quite a large party of us. The restaurant was full and sadly uncomfortably loud inside, the outside may of course be better. The service staff was charmingly cheeky, but should have been more attentive. Even though the...experience was not bad, we were very relieved to leave after our lunch: that is probably not a feeling one should leave a restaurant with. The menu looked very good. My food was not very satisfying though: Buffalo mozzarella with a mustard/honey/dill sauce as a starter and vegetable lasagne as a main: The sauce the mozzarella was buried in was much too overpowering, so it was pretty impossible to taste the great ingredients (mozzarella, olives, tomatoes) in the dish. The lasagne was made of great pasta, but then the vegetables were mainly tinned peas carrots and beans which voided the taste and consitency of what could have been a great lasagne after all the other ingredients were really good. After that I didn't feel like a dessert. Others in our party who had had veal for instance were very happy with their food."

"I had the pleasure to visit this ice cream regularly in the last 15 or so years as a regular traveler to Bad Nauheim. If fresh house made gelato is what you are looking for with fresh ingredients, this is the place to stop. Sit down and enjoy a sunset (I have tried only over everyone and they are all good) or get Gelato to go in a bowl or cup and enjoy during the walk in the park over the street. The business is seasonal, closed at the end of October for winter, so look for it only from spring to autumn."
