"The load was closed although my reservation was approved and online stood also that it opened. on the door, however, they only opened from time to time. I drove from knittlingen to bruchsal and that for nothing. I am very disappointed"

"My sister whom I am visiting knows about my obsession with Egg Benedict of all descriptions and suggested we have breakfast at the Phoenix. I passed the place several times during this and past visits and was always intrigued that the place seem packed at...all hours of the day. After glancing over the sandwich selections, the pastries and cakes on offer, I began to understand why! I ordered the 'Montreal ' version of the Egg Benedict I 'd call it Arlington as the based is laid with smoked salmon and was surprised on two fronts: How fast it was served and how rich it looked! The egg yolk was running as it should be some of my sister 's was however set the Hollandaise intrigued my palate and the entire presentation was making me salivate before I even had my first bite. At 8 Euros and a bit it was good value for money and I think I may very well return for a da capo performance over the coming weeks when another Egg Benedict craving strikes. Sadly did the lady owner decline to have a photograph taken to help promote the restaurant not that they apparently need it given their table turnover and said her hubby too was too busy. Hmmm, well everyone is allowed a bad hair day, no? What mattered was that my #EggBenedictChallenge was met head on and they got 10 out of 10 at first try."

"Haben Salat und Pizza dort gegessen. Der Salat war nicht gerade liebevoll angerichtet, die Soße sehr Mayonnaiselastig gewesen, Oliven haben gefehlt, stattdessen wurde eine Handvoll Mais reingeschmissen. Auf Nachfrage, wo die Oliven seien sollen, hatte die Bedienung und sogar der Chef persönlich in der Speisekarte nachgeschaut, ob der Salat wirklich Oliven enthalten soll. Wurden später auf extra Teller nachgereicht. Wenn der Chef nicht weiß, was der Nizza Salat enthalten soll ..... Die Pizza war etwas versalzen, aber der Teig war nicht wirklich gut. Nicht aufgegangen und unterdurchscnittlich. Würde dort keine Pizza mehr essen. Zu den anderen Gerichten kann ich nichts sagen, so wie sie ausgesehen haben, kann das jede Hausfrau auch zu Hause es so hinbekommen. Es gibt Fassbier, aber was gar nicht geht, ein Pils in einem Weizenglas zu servieren. Aber dort scheint es normal zu sein. Was gut war, war der Espresso. Werden wir nicht wieder hingehen, es gibt durchaus viel bessere Italienische Restaurants in der Umgebung."
