"Came in today to grab a quick sandwich for lunch, as I have done many times before. Am suffering from a bit of laryngitis so when I came to pay, I signaled to the chap to show I'd lost my voice, hence why I couldn't speak to him. I bought my food, then he offered to make me a peppermint tea with a spoonful of honey in it, and gave it to me on the house. Very thoughtful and caring, and makes me want to go back every lunch time ! Thoroughly recommend this place."

"There were two of us ordering two dishes and they managed to make two mistakes. Friendly staff but very slow. We ended up getting up to pay our bill at the till. Food was fine but nothing amazing."

"Lovely pub. Great atmosphere, good drinks on offer and the food was great (I had the burger and chips). Enjoyed the company of regular patron Alan (who has the best stories and is an absolute legend) and the arrival of a dog was the icing on the cake. Would like to highlight the service from the wonderful Erika and Agne who made me feel very welcome and were both very helpful. Would definitely go back again!"

"Was sat at a table where the closed french windows to the garden were behind me there was a draft and the room was cold. When trying to order a main course the waiter kept telling me everything would take over half an hour to cook. I think this was to get me to order a starter. But I wanted to order a main a dessert. Finally I chose the lamb chops. One was very pink, the other 2 over cooked. All were tough! When taking the dessert order the waitress didn’t know the difference between an ice cream ‘ a sorbet! She had to call over a waiter to answer the question. Service was very slow. I’ve eaten here many times and it has always been good. In fact I wrote a review only a month ago saying how superb this restaurant was. This visit was very disappointing."

"I booked the drawing room for a 30th birthday 3 course dinner and was a bit disappointed. It was for 24 people so between us we spent a pretty penny. With that in mind it was disappointed to be presented with (amongst 2 other things.. some cut up beetroot balls for a starter, and the pudding wasn’t great with 2 tiny blocks of quite stale brownie.. For £39.20 a head with no booze included it wasn’t the meal to shout about I did expect more by the description on the menu. I found the staff helpful on setting up but the ones attending dinner seemed to be rushing us by taking away plates before we’d finished. There was no WiFi or help to get a connection to play some music and the price of a basic house wine was very expensive. Overall-couldn’t help but feel a bit fobbed off as we weren’t a wedding party. It was a good room for what we needed but disappointed with food and overall attentiveness."

"House of morocco is one of my favorite places in london! they love the coffee and eat (especially their falafel packaging- so good! . the staff is super nice and always positiw and smiling. if they like nice, cozy and friendly spots, I recommend these!"
