"Taverna Banfi has one of, if not the best weekend brunch buffets in town. The food is well prepared, pleasing to both eye and palate, and plentiful. We’ve been fortunate to have the same waiter last two times, and he is both attentive and entertaining. And the valet staff will park your car for you. Wonderful experience!"

"We were in beautiful Ithaca for a concert. Made reservations for a Saturday night with another couple. We were early so we went to the bar. The only bartender on at that moment was busy with service tickets and didn't even bother to acknowledge us by saying hello or anything. We were completely ignored until the hostess came to seat us. We enjoyed each other's company for dinner or it would have been a total let down. My salmon entree was over cooked and overpriced, not to mention void of flavor. With all the cookbooks they have... I never would have expected such an unsatisfactory meal. I will return to Ithaca for sure but I will not be returning to the moosewood!"

"A small little Cafe just on the outside of town with some amazing food. This place was poppin' when I got in, but the line to order moved quick the wait to pick up took a bit more time I waited about 15 minutes, but well worth the wait. If you order a drink it'll be ready before your food, this will give you something to have while you wait not to mention there are some ready to eat quiches, cinnamon rolls and croissants to munch on as well. I got the Diva open faced bagel, it had cream cheese, provolone, bacon, avocado, and Pico on top a little messy to eat but very good. I also got a Chai Latte, I was a little disappointed with. I took a sip and it tasted not like Chai, but like coffee, and then I felt a jittery highly caffinated jolt, it didn't taste bad, but enough to ask the Barista that it was in fact Chai, she said it was and although I said it tasted like coffee, she simply replied it was definitely Chai, but did offer to remake it, I declined. I later determined it must've been a Dirty Chai with a shot of espresso, I don't drink coffee so I wasn't a fan of it. I do enjoy a sweet and spicy Chai; with the tastes of cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, and nutmeg. Overall great food and I'll definitely be back to try some more food and desserts"

"I had no coffee here, but the hot cocoa was great. Place is quite small in four 2 seat tables and a few higher chairs along the counter. Can sit outside when the weather is nice or go. A few pastries for sale as well as, and of course coffee, espresso, hot teas, lattes, hot cocoa."
