"I never miss it when i`m in Klagenfurt. It is by far the best one out of this type of restaurant and i`ve tried the best rated ones in Milan, Ventimiglia, Nice and Cluj-Napoca. Good quality sushi, freshly made whenever it`s necessary.Amazing caramelised duck breast, fresh grilled seafood with your choice of sauces.One evening we got there late, almost at closing time and most of the buffet was gone, but they asked what would we prefer to eat and they made a huge bowl of it.The staff is ok and even tho they only speak german, they understand english."

"I cannot comment on the interior as I have only ever sat outside on recent visits, but I like sitting facing Neuer Platz and the Lindwurm on sunny days. The faux fur "hides" on chairs look inviting and add a bit of warmth. Good coffee...even if the espresso macchiato comes with a VERY generous serving of frothed milk and would have Italians coffee purists cringe (served with a mini Ritter Sport cube) and prompt service. A Klagenfurt classic."

"Ich habe schon so einiges in diesem etwas anderem Restaurant verspeist und wurde jedesmal überaus postiv überrascht. Ich bin kein Restaurantkritiker oder Gastronomie Experte, vertraue aber meinem Geschmackssinn. Und der lässt sich nicht täuschen, er hat immer seine helle Freude mit dem, was ihm im Aloha Diner zugeführt wird. Wenn man das Aloh Diner betritt, sollte man unbedingt Hunger und etwas Zeit mitbringen. 08/15 Speisen, mit denen man in der etwas verstaubten Klagenfurter Gastronomie en masse abgefertig wird, findet man hier nicht. Der Chef selbst kocht und serviert hier Speisen, die ich zumindest, wenn sie am Teller liegen, zum Teil gar nicht erkennen kann, was das denn nun genau ist. Dann der Überraschungseffekt. Man beißt hinein, nimmt einen Löffel oder Gabel voll in den Mund, kaut ein wenig und dann entfalten sich Geschmäcker und Aromen, die meinen Gaumen bisher noch nie erreicht haben. WOW! kommt es über die freudig lächelnden Lippen. Wieder eine perfekte Komposition. Alles harmoniert. Die Hauptzutat mit den Kräutern, Gewürzen und Beilagen, wie ein perfekt aufeinander abgestimmtes Orchester. Man taucht ein in eine bisher unbekannte Geschmackswelt und will mehr und man kriegt auch mehr. Denn die Portionen werden individuell so angepasst, dass locker noch Platz für weitere Speisen bleibt und man sozusagen von Genusswelle zu Genusswelle surft und sich dazwischen mit dem Koch, der sich auch gerne zu seinen Gästen setzt, bestens über Gott und die Welt und übers Essen unterhalten kann.Wenn ich die Speisen im Alho Diner, blumig mit einer Komposition und einem Orchester vergleiche, dann lege ich jetzt noch einen drauf und vergleiche den Koch und seine Speisen mit Mozart und seinen Werken. Man könnte jetzt natürlich einwenden, das sei jetzt aber ein wenig weit hergeholt, worauf ich mit Bestimmtheit kontern würde NEIN, ist es nicht. Ich habe in meinen 50 Lebensjahren schon so einige Restaurtants besucht. Im In- und Ausland. Aber SO GUT habe ich noch nirgends gespeist. Das Aloha Diner ist eine wahre Bereicherung für Klagenfurt und den Gaumen, und ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, sich hier mal so richtig verwöhnen zu lassen.Thums up!"
