"Very tasty and high quality food. Friendly, attentive service. However, if the restaurant is very full, it takes a long time for the food to arrive. There were 6 of us and you want to serve the food at the same time and warm, whatever happens. Everything very professional. We didn't have a starter, which of course made the wait for the main meal longer But in principle everything is good. One star deducted from the service only for the long waiting time."

"We stayed several times for a short trip at the Romantikhotel Gravenberg. The romantic rooms are super beautifully decorated. It's clean. The breakfast buffet offers something for every taste. The wellness area is very well maintained and quiet. The service of absolute hammer. I've never felt so welcome in a hotel as here.We recently tried another hotel, never again! "Generally quoted by my “about me”: “Only love we report about recommended restaurants or those who have developed positively after a bad evaluation.” In mid-November 2013 I had reported a visit to this restaurant. We were not so excited at the time, but wanted to give the Brunello team a new chance. When we came to the restaurant shortly after 18:00, we were the only guests. We had deliberately not reserved and therefore had only the selection of 2 tables, with us decided for the somewhat hidden table because of the photos. Yes, now look for the tables where you can work best: The greeting was very kind of the house's son, who served us friendly and attentive all night. On the table a vase with a fresh tulip, with a candle holder, whose candle was quickly illuminated. At the same time we received the menu and the day ticket. In the background again beautiful Italian music, while when the song “Time to say goodbye” was allowed to enjoy four times until the repeat function was switched off. We found this very funny, the waiter was obviously very embarrassing. We ordered Prosecco (4,50€), which came in a very nice glass, further cyclists (1,90€ and Cola (2,00€). The drinks came quickly and well tempered. As an appetizer we ordered the Antipasto Classico Plate (11,00€). And behold, the head of the house appeared on the table greeted us kindly and asked if the appetizer can prepare with garlic. Yeah, he's very happy, always at the weekend. Now we have 4 warm panini and a small bowl of olive oil and fresh pepper from the mill. Like an entry very delicious. After about 15 minutes the appetizer came and was the second surprise of the evening, because both visually and tastefully and finally also from the selection were worlds between the antipasto dishes served us 6 months ago: roasted paprika, melon with ham, bruschetta with tasteful tomatoes and garlic, Italian salami filled with herbs, caprine, mushrooms and stuffed. Handmade very good and the whole is served by boss and boss personally. For this I ordered the Primitivo (0.25l 6.00€ . The wine was also well tempered and beautifully soft. Even the skin food came after a pleasant and not too long break, although almost all tables were occupied. My wife got a salad with roasted salmon (12,00€). The salmon this time juicy, the salad obviously made good because it was very happy. I had chosen the shrimps that were boiled in fishsud with fried silver onions and a Vin Santo reduction (21.00€ . The 4 large peeled shrimps were boiled to the point and together with softly cooked onions in the light wine sauce really good taste. The rosemary spices served and the fried vegetables could have been a little more spicy for my taste. To round off the food, there were homemade tiramisu, commendably not too much to taste alcohol, with a loose cream and some espresso aroma. So taste Tiramisu. At the end a digestive drink on the house, also for this thank you. Let us come to the Star Award: Service: attentive, friendly, always present and thus clearly 5 deserved stars. Well, that the house's boss was often in the restaurant and spoke to all guests. Food: a significant increase since our last visit and I miss again the 0.5 points painful. Therefore, 4 stars with an upward inclination. Ambiance: very nice I found that obviously new and very decorative porcelain was bought, now there is still a beautiful large pepper mill for the oil; again 4 stars. Cleanliness: all Picco bello clean, the toilets we did not visit for this 5 star price-performance ratio: here the team worked significantly on 4 stars high. This visit was a lot of fun for me, as the booklet was “taken to heart”. For me now a clear recommendation."

"The food is really delicious and fresh.Leider is the guest room (we were in the right room) too small to host 36 guests. And this was tried here on a Saturday evening.The distance to the neighboring table was approx. 10 cm and a conversation was almost impossible in view of the volume in the room, and if, then the tables on the right and left have to listen to everything. There were three two tables so close together that you could have put the 6 people on a large table.Well, the food was served within 5-7 minutes and so no cozy meeting was created by volume and the hectic spread in the room. For going to eat very quickly, the place is certainly great because, as I said, there was nothing to put on taste."

"Lieber Herr bobby1. Da müssen wir leider widersprechen da wir an diesen besagten Abend auch dort waren und es mitgekriegt haben wie der Chef gefragt hat ob sie reserviert haben und sie sagten nein. Da meinte der nette Chef das ein 6 tisch noch frei währe der aber in 1 stunde reserviert sei für 2 Personen. Darauf hin sagten sie es währe kein Problem. Das Restaurant war an diesem Abend voll und es war auch wirklich alles reserviert. Und es war trotzdem lecker wie immer. Wir kommen jetzt sehr oft hierhin und waren immer sehr herzlich empfangen worden. Sind mittlerweile Stammgäste und viele unserer freunde und bekannten auch die wir mitgebracht haben. Also ich kann es nicht verstehen wobei mehr positive als negative Einträge und es auch so ist. Also liebe Leute last euch nicht von jemanden einschüchtern das es nicht gut ist. Es gibt immer Leute die ein schlechten tag haben und frustriert sind. Lieber selbst reinschauen und eine eigene Meinung machen. Und ich sage ihnen sie wird positiv sein. Danke La Candela das es euch gibt wie immer es ist lecker und wir kommen weiter."

"A very frequent Tuesday night and parking full. A good sign? Well, also the restaurant completely booked and luck we reserved. A few years ago I was here, just like my business colleague, and we both remembered the restaurant positively. Is it the same today? To get it forward, yes! The interior, i.e. the furniture, the appearance has not changed. Cosy rustic, lots of wood, smaller niches and beautifully decorated, no kink taste. Somehow I have the impression of a Bavarian influence, perhaps also through the clothes of the service, dirty. Click on the photo to enlarge! The greeting was extremely friendly and I was led to the table where my business partner was already sitting. It only took a short time to ask for an aperitif. I mentioned the well filled parking lot and so I decided to use a soft Flensburger Pils, in a climbing bottle, nicely cold. The menu includes a menu of the house and a well sought-after number of ala-Carte dishes. There's no rush here. Take enough time to choose! Freshly prepared meals and a very pleasant time between courses. After greeting from the kitchen I chose the sweet potato cream with coconut milk (EUR 9.00), which convinced me. I feared that coconut milk will be very dominant, but that was not the case, slightly sweet, in itself very harmoniously costed, slightly asian and absolutely my taste. By the way, a good part! Then as the main course a 250 g Rumpsteak with Pommes Frites (EUR 28,50), very high cut and super good medium fried and perfectly spiced. There were no sauces in the menu and so I asked for a pepper sauce served. It was a business dinner and I didn't have the opportunity to make pictures of the food. However, I would like to point out that the dishes were served without ornaments such as Balsamico-Saucencumber or small cut greenware. Perfect. During the time the restaurant was full, there were enough staff. But with time, not only the number of guests reduced, but also the number of service personnel. So it was unfortunately necessary to win at the end for an espresso or for the bill. It does not fit the otherwise perfect service. It won't take years to visit again!"
