"We were sitting in a nearby bar using tripadvisor to find a restaurant near us. We are so pleased we did. You will either stumble upon this restaurant by accident or miss it completely. It's not on a main road (which makes the view from the window even better) so we recommend you make the effort to find it. We are two typical non French speaking English looking for French food. We were not disappointed as most of the 'petit' menu was French. The place is very small but strangely there are a lot of tables yet it doesn't feel cramped.We had a lovely friendly welcome and lots of help with the menu. There are also hand written notes of suggestions from the chef. Even though the menu is small we were struggling to choose as it all sounded so good. We both chose different mains so we could try both and they were both delicious and well presented. If we hadn't have been leaving Lille the next day then I think we would've booked a table for the following evening. We had no room for dessert but couldn't turn it down anyway. It was very nice so it was a good move for the head if not for the waist. Prices were reasonable and we felt they were a bargain given the quality of the food. Tip: Book ahead and try to get the table by the window upstairs."

"On the entrance can be read probably the best burgers in town . When one reads such a caption, the bar is quite high. So the disappointment was even higher: a small burger, accompanied with overcooked bacon and overcooked potatoes. For the children it was even...worse, as their version was overfilled with cocktail sauce, which takes all the taste away. The burger itself is honestly fine, but that 's it: nothing special really. Regarding the dessert (brunch menu) better hurry, as there aren 't enough fruits for everyone. I managed to spare a poor apricot for my child, and then was left with pie only. The pie was alright, although dividing the sugar dosage by about 2 would make them tastier. I don 't recommend this place and won 't go again."

"A service of unparalleled nullity and immeasurable incompetence! Professionalism close to zero. After 50 long minutes of waiting and several reminders to take our order, the waiter told us that there was only one dish left. Worse still, he had the nerve to lie to us by saying that orders are taken according to the order of arrival of customers while knowing that two tables set up well after us were well served. Ashamed ! Service: 1"

"This is a wonderful restaurant with authentic French dishes cooked to perfection and providing good value. We had the hanger steak with butter and shallots probably the best steak we have had in a long time. We were also very well looked after by our waitress. Definitely one to recommend."
