"A really good experience at The Kitchen...if you like tapas it's a style of dining that's not to everyone's taste. We love it We arrived hungry after a day of touring wineries so we ordered a lot! Started with a tasty hummus and baguette, followed with 2 seafood dishes, carried on to roasted cauliflower and duck leg confit, a pork belly on tomato and basil salad, fresh Saltspring Island mussels and clams, and meatballs with tomato chipotle sauce. Whew! But still room for dessert, lol had the housemade cheesecake and the daily special which was an espresso creme brulee. Everything was delicious well balanced flavors, fresh ingredients the only quibble I had was with the squid, it was finished with very coarse salt that I found overpowering. But I eat very little salt so it may be just a personal taste thing for me. Recommended if you like tapas and enjoy taking your time over dinner. Ps the dining area is a covered patio, but they have propane heaters that kept it cozy as the night got chilly"

"I was amazed to find such an authentic experience of Italy in the heart of Penticton.A simple menu with a nice selection of soups and sandwiches and delish desserts...including the 6 takeout cannolis made fresh to go!I was transported back to my favorite Roma Caffe with one sip of the perfecto Espresso!Grazi!"
