"Where do we start ???Starting with the size of the place, the place itself is very small. There is a table with 3 chairs and a bar table with two chairs.We will continue to the owner of the place, and to the menu served there ....The owner is one of the most optimistic and happy people I have met. The food itself excellent with a personal touch (really feel that he enjoys what he does).And the coffee ... finally someone who can make coffee in Playa del CarmenIn short, finally a place with good food, excellent coffee and reasonable price"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"My hubby ordered the cake from this place to surprise me for my birthday. Hubby took me to Alux Restaurant and they delivered the cake to the restaurant. They don't take credit cards so they made the cake in good faith that hubby will pay cash for it upon delivery. They delivered the cake on time. It was a red velvet cake and it was delicious!!"
