"UCC used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but not anymore. UCC Eastwood in particular has horrible customer service the servers are inattentive and can 't solve simple customer problems. Mom ordered 1 Carbonara for dine in AND 1 pasta dish 1 iced tea for take out. The server took note of this and repeated her order correctly. The take out order was placed on the table after 15 minutes. But the Carbonara, which was supposed to be a dine in order, never came out. After 40 minutes of waiting, mom called the manager over to ask them to check on her food. She was then told that the Carbonara was actually packed into the take out order...! Mom got angry and asked why none of the servers as well as the manager noticed that she was just sitting at her table with no food for over 40 minutes. She also asked why this mistake was made because the server had clearly repeated the order correctly after taking it down. The server/manager then suggested that she dump the Carbonara out from the take out box and onto a plate so that she could eat it in the store. ??? It had already been 30 minutes since the Carbonara was packed and would be cold, not to mention inedible, clumped up and stale unless it was, at the very least, re heated. My mom told this to the server manager and was met with a reply she didn 't expect. The server touched the box and said, It 's still warm anyway. And the chef says its OK. ??? Not only did she not offer to have it re heated in the kitchen, she also insisted that stale Carbonara was fine. ??? Why even bother working at a restaurant if that 's what you think good food is. The manager didn 't even do anything to help solve the issue. My mom was hungry and fed up by then, so she refused to pay for the Carbonara. While they were sorting out the bill, they even had the gall to tell us that they know who we are and that we 're frequent customers at their branch. So this is how you treat your frequent customers? OK, then. Great to know. If you want to pay for shoddy customer service and inedible, clumped up stale Carbonara, UCC is the place you 're looking for. If you actually want to be treated like a valued customer, I suggest you find another place to eat. The photo below shows the cold, stale, clumped up Carbonara put on a plate straight from the take out box with no re heating after 30 minutes at UCC Eastwood. You can see the take out utensils on the side."
