"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this resort. We had the all inclusive package for 5 nights. Our room was nice and clean. The resort itself is nicely designed and well maintained. The staff were really nice and took care of us. The resort beaches, however small, are nice and clean. The pools are good size and well maintained. Where this resort fell short for us was the food (the reason for 3 stars). The food was average at best which is a pity. Breakfast was very bland, nothing special. The lunch and dinner menus had a nice variety but the food itself was not that tasty. I think overall the food lacked basic spices like salt and pepper. The resort is located in a very nice and lively area with a lot of restaurants and cafes around. So if we want to visit the resort again, we would only get the basic package and would go out to eat. There was a special dinner for Christmas eve that we needed to pay extra for, $120/person on top of the all-inclusive. We took issues with that and they resolved it to our satisfaction so credit to them. But generally speaking, they need to reconsider this as it really doesn't make sense for an all-inclusive guest or any guest to be forced to pay this much extra."
