"We were hungry, in Toowoomba mid afternoon on a quiet Sunday and found Michelle's where our every need was satisfied. This cafe opened this year on April 1st and is newly refurbished with two upper floors in which to dine. The third storey is not yet in use.The vintage staircase is for the able bodied, but there is plenty of room at street level to dine both inside and al fresco.The menu caters for vegetarians , is varied and tasty. I enjoyed the mock chicken with sweet and sour and steamed rice. My family had tacos with sour cream. Coffee is good. Burgers are available too.Run by an obliging Chinese family, service is excellent and they aim to please. Cleanliness is apparent.We were impressed with Michelle's Cafe, noting it was one of the very few open in town on a Sunday afternoon. My family had been there some time ago and went looking for it again.The good manners of the staff was appreciated.Recommended for a casual meal priced appropriately too.My photo depicts the life sized , wooden figure of a European soldier of long ago which is up the stairs to the second floor of this renovated vintage building. Reminiscent of Prague, its appropriateness to Michelle's is vague but fun nevertheless. Kids would love it."

"Feel sorry for 2 staff members trying to take orders, make coffees, cook, clean tables during busy lunch hour. Consequently product served not worth the wait or cost. Have tried this place a few times ok for conveience to coincide with library visit."
