"I received notice of my reservations on Thursday April 6 and I confirmed it as requested. All 4 of us arrived at Walkers on Friday April 7 at 5:15p, and to our complete surprise a sign at the entrance said we are closed today . I asked an employee about it and was told the management decided not to open because the occupancy rate in the hotel was low. Now, my question is, why wasn 't I notified of this ahead of time so I could make other plans? We have been regular customers at Walkers the past 2 years, eating their prior to the Louisville Orchestra and Ballet shows. Please check my last 2 surveys and you can see the recent problems there. We will look for another place in the future since the Galt House has shown that our business is not appreciated."

"Our server Kylie made the night amazing for my friends and I. The restaurant has an “elevated menu” on the website that is not offered anymore, so that was an unpleasant surprise. The food was just OK. The igloo was fun for us."

"My prime rib was extraordinary! A la carte makes it a difficult place to visit on a normal budget. The rotating dinning room was cool with great panoramic views of Louisville. Loved this place overall, just pricey."
