"I do not come to Janko's frequently but I always have a good experience when visiting. The service is always excellent and friendly and orders tend to be fast. The quality of the steaks is also consistently very good. The ambiance is simple, mostly designed to be a college town hangout place, with simple table lines and overall decoration. Definitely not a pretentious place. Notice that prices tend to be high so it is likely something one would not do regularly but still a great place to take visitors from out of town. Also, notice that there is a public parking garage just across the street."

"Delicious and fresh food. Cozy and cute little spot. Loved the wicker park area. The pancakes were so delicious. The perfect balance of sweetness. After being disappointed with another set of pancakes at breakfast the day before- these hit the spot. The potatoes were a little bland. Could use some seasoning and I don't usually add salt or anything to my food. Other than that it was all good- good service and food!"

"We sat at the bar and we’re so impressed by the service. Our waitress Lizbeth was open to answering every question and wanted to make sure our entire experience was perfect. I ordered the basil melt with a boiled egg. It was delicious and we had the flight of mimosa’s. Amazing deal. Highly recommend!!"

"Food is very good indeed. We had scallop Caesar salad and broiled scallops with a half dozen raw oysters to start. Everything was delicious, best tasting oysters we had on the island. Prices are a high though and the restaurant was weirdly cold inside."
