"This is the first Mexican restaurant I've ever been, because this is my first time in America and it was fantastic. Incredibly friendly and efficient staff, fresh tortilla chips and salsa came like us. Sweet tea was nice. The food arrived very quickly, but I would have liked to wait over an hour for the greatness I could enjoy. The green sauce was divine, I want more! A must try!!!"

"I have been going to Maria's and enjoying her tacos since they were being served in one of Austin's first food trucks outside of her neighborhood store. This place isn't just a restaurant, it's part of the heart and soul of the South Austin Culture, and has been an important meeting place for Austinites for two decades now. It's my favorite food/meeting/and music place of all of ATX. Viva la de Maria's!"

"Overall it?s a really good experience we ordered a few drinks and I didn?t have a problem with them but some of the party did and the staff was very quick to correct the issue. And no problem going above and beyond trying to correct the issue (offering free shots). The food was good, drinks were good in my opinion, the staff had fast service. Great option, nothing bad to say here."
