"We used to think that El Tren (now called Tres Potrillos) was the best Mexican food in the area until we found La Loma. We used to think La Loma was the best Mexican food in the area until we found Salsitas. We’re done looking; this is the best! This restaurant used to be a breakfast place before government imposed lockdowns closed family business in 2020-2021. It seems as though the owner has reopened as a Mexican restaurant and though the breakfast place was good, I’m happy he opened up as a Mexican restaurant! The staff and owner are super friendly and the food is amazing! I’m slowly eating my way through their dinner menu but hands down their Birria tacos are the best thing here (thus far)! The brisket is so moist and tender and the beef consommé puts it over the edge delicious! My wife’s chicken tacos were super moist and flavorful as well. She was even blown away by the Mexican rice ! It didn’t have that stale flavor like a 5lb tub of rice sat under a heat lamp for five hours. Spicy burritos are also good as well. I can’t tell you how hungry I’m getting writing this review right now. If you’re in the area and enjoy delicious food that just so happens to be Mexican food, you owe it to yourself to eat here."

"Staff is friendly but our server seemed too busy to give us much attention. He was rushing everything. Delicious food though. Tableside guacamole was also not served tableside so that was disappointing."

"First time eating at the new location and I love the decor. This has a modern Aztec/Mayan feel, as the old place had a 70's cantina feel to it. But I still loved the mural around the entire restaurant. Always a fan of the food here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff."

"The restaurant is clean, has an updated menu with an excellent selection of cocktails. It's not the typical tex mex food you see on every menu. The street corn was fantastic and the vegetarian enchiladas were fresh and delicious. The service was aboveaverage and I would highly recommend checking it out."
