"Mm! Oh so delicious, local kebab! I mean, you can't go wrong with a dirty kebab in my opinion. I enjoyed myself very much with this cheeky and ate it probably a bit too fast :)"

"Didn't know where The Hive was, but we found it in The Riverside Centre where Baba Ganoush used to be a long time ago. Basically it is a sandwich Bar which has salads & pasta (when available) The pasta wasn't available when we rocked up evidently! There were lots of sandwiches all ready made up. I chose the falafel which I asked to be toasted. My friend ordered the Reuben which was basically meat with coleslaw in Turkish I think. Neither sandwich was overwhelming, but it satiated the hunger. All the water urns were empty so we had to request them to be filled (It was very hot outside believe me)Best part of the visit was of course the waterfront view right on the Brisbane river"

"This place has a lot of potential. You feel the positive ethos of the shop, and the flavour of the vegan food is amazing, particularly the generously sized smoothies.<br/ <br/ It would be good to see some more variety in the salad bowls, and also some more quantity A few times I have turned up on a Friday night only to be told that they were out of salads, or out of the particular salad I wanted."

"Felt like I was back in the '70 's, supping with uni friends in appropriately bohemian surrounds ... but with MUCH better food and coffee! Terrific little place in Brisbane 's west end, lots of atmosphere and character. Our brekkie wrap was fabulous. The coffee itself worth getting out of bed for. And the young man with the cool hair-do taking orders was very good, welcoming people and setting an inclusive tone at the outset. Only reason I haven 't given 5 stars is because, as a coeliac, there wasn 't much of a choice for me."
