"I have been a regular customer of HN 2nd floor bar since its openning close to 15 years ago. This is my favourite cocktail bar in Bristol. I love the knowledgeable, tentative, and yet very friendly and down to earth staff. Sadly, this afternoon’s experience was rather disappointing. Waiter had dismissive attitude, we had diffuculties drawing his attention to order drinks and pay the bill… It felt as we were in a dingy pub, which is absolutely fine if HN wants to take this route, except in that case you will not be able to justify charging £10-£12 per coctail. Pull up your socks HN!"

"The smell percolated the air as I walked through the Glass Arcade in the bustling St Nicholas Market. I just had to stop for lunch and I am glad I did. The menu offers an excellent selection and my Moroccan lamb was superb. The sweet...lamb was backed by couscous, chick peas, potatoes, carrots, puy lentils and prunes. Every forkful was a joy and all for The slick service added to the experience and seating is either inside an atmospheric area it was packed or outside on stools at mosaic tables. There is obviously a lot of repeat business, a testament to the quality, and if in town don't miss this place. It is only minutes from the Centre Promenade and well worth the walk up the hill."

"Love La Casbah! I don't normally like olives at all, but I can't get enough of them here lol. Don't know what they marinade them in, but I like it! I love the simple home cooked feel to the food. I would like to see some more specials on the board, but I can't say I have ever had a bad experience there, the manager and staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Very good value for money as well in my opinion. It will continue to be a regular place to eat for me :"
